If your credit card doesn’t go through when ordering a dumpster on our website, you’ll have to use another credit card or contact your credit card provider. Sometimes this happens due to no fault of your own. Web processed credit card transactions occasionally trigger possible fraudulent activity. In this case, you may need to contact them first to remove the hold on the card.
If your credit card doesn’t go through, for weight overage or additional days then, a Dumpster Today representative will call you to get another credit card. You will have up to 7 days to pay your final bill. You can also contact us to arrange another form of payment or to use a different credit card.
The price of your dumpster rental includes a one-time delivery and a one-time pick-up, a specified amount of days of rental, and the fuel, environmental fees, and taxes associated with the dumpster size and the initial package choice of debris weight included and defined in the order.
Other costs may be incurred during your rental. Please also see the FAQ covering "What is not included in my dumpster rental?"
Please check with your local municipality. Permits are often required for dumpsters to be placed on the street and sometimes this is expressly prohibited.
Please note that Dumpster Today is not responsible for any fines/fees from HOA’s or local code enforcement that a Renter incurs OR any fines or costs Dumpster Today incurs for following the directions of a Renter, and Renter will be charged.
No, but please be sure to provide any special instructions upfront, during the ordering process, whether online in the message box or on the phone with our scheduling agent. If there are no special instructions, the driver will use their best judgment and experience.
If no special instructions are provided, and relocation of the dumpster is required, the customer will be billed a trip charge to do so (trip charges range from $150 - $250). Even with requested drop placement, our experienced drivers always have the last say in where a dumpster is dropped based on safety and property protection. Please remember we need a flat hard surface to deliver and pick the dumpster. We try WHENEVER possible to NOT place dumpsters on grass, sand, dirt, or any significant slopes.
For removal / pick up day; the customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the dumpster rental equipment. If the dumpster is inaccessible by our equipment, the customer is subject to additional pick up charges, and or a trip charge (trip charge range from $150 to $275 based on location and day of service) as per terms and conditions in the agreement.
If the Dumpster Today driver is unable to access the dumpster for any reason (customer’s fault or not), the renter will be billed a trip charge (trip charge range from $150 to $275 based on location).
If a missed pick up causes dumpster to be at the property for longer than contracted time, the renter will also be billed per day until the dumpster is picked up (refer to signed rental agreement for rate on additional days).
Dumpsters can NEVER be loaded over the side walls for any reason. Do not do this.
If dumpsters are loaded above the sidewalls, Dumpster Today may refuse to pick up the dumpster and will charge customer a trip charge (trip charge range from $150 to $275 based on location and day of service). The renter must then unload the dumpster at their own expense and time to below the side wall top.
Please remember the rental continues until the dumpster is unloaded to a safe amount/level. If this issue causes your rental to go beyond the included days you will be billed for each additional day(s) at $25 per day (refer to signed rental agreement for this rate).
It’s always a good idea to cover your dumpster with a tarp if it is going to rain, especially if you are loading it with items that retain water such as carpet, a mattress, or other absorbent items.
